Data Science Dojo is a data school based in Washington, USA but it can move to the place where it will teach next. It offers three courses that cover data science topics and offers corporate training. The school doesn't offer any scholarships, but it has a partnership with Ascent.

If you want to know more about Data Science Dojo, you can click on the button below:

Data Science Dojo is an in-person data science school that offers full and part-time courses in both the US and Singapore. The school teaches data science through a comprehensive curriculum that seeks to make it accessible to everyone who is interested to learn. For this they offer three courses:

  • Data Science Bootcamp.
  • Data Science for Business Leaders.
  • Python for Data Science.

The school also offers a Practicum Program designed to train students in a practical way and grants students the opportunity to work as interns for 12 weeks. This gives them the chance to get real-world experience and makes it easier for them to find jobs.

Apart from in-field experience, Data Science Dojo also grants students of the Practicum Program interview practice and helps build their portfolios, making sure they have all the help they need to find their first industry job and excel at it.

Who Is Data Science Dojo For?

Data Science Dojo helps those interested in starting a career or looking to improve their skills located in the United States and Singapore learn the data science skills they need to reach their goal. Students don’t need to have prior experience in the field to join the school. To enroll in any of Data Science Dojo's programs, you must have a computer to work with.

Programs can be full or part-time commitments depending on the course you choose and the school doesn't have access to an online program. Students don't need to go through an application process to attend the school, Data Science Dojo allows them to just pick a program and enroll.

Features & Benefits of Data Science Dojo

Here are a few of the most important features and benefits of Data Science Dojo:

In-Person Instruction

Data Science Dojo's in-person instruction creates an environment where students can concentrate better because there will be fewer distractions. This will grant them a better understanding and a higher chance of completing the course since they will also interact with instructors and peers.

The school's classrooms also grant the opportunity to access more information since the student will be in the same place as their instructor and peers, making it easier to make themselves heard. This also makes it easier to make friends, problem-solve and build a network with people of different backgrounds.

Flexible Schedule

Data Science Dojo gives you control over your training schedule. This is especially advantageous if you have a busy day-to-day life because you can also decide how many hours per week you dedicate to the course or when to do your homework.

This is a good option for those who are full-time parents or depend on their current job.

Project-based Curriculum

A project-based curriculum is a feature that not all courses offer. What this means is that Data Science Dojo Practicum Program's curriculum is built around real projects that you’ll be working on all throughout the length of the course. Not only does that imply that you’ll learn by doing, but also that, by the end of the course, you’ll have a set of fully functioning apps or other products that will now be a part of your new portfolio.

For someone who just started out in the world of data science, having a built portfolio to show that goes along with the newly crafted resume can prove invaluable when it comes to finding a job in the tech industry or a related field.

Guaranteed Internships

Data Science Dojo guarantees an internship for all students who go through the Practicum Program as part of their training process. An internship as a data scientist is not about going out for coffee, especially If it’s an internship set up from the start by the course. This is probably one of the best features a course can have because it has three key advantages that are hard to get any other way:

  • First, it gives you hands-on experience in a real working environment and on real problems, just like the ones you’ll face once you land your first job. This is a major boost for anyone’s resume and portfolio.
  • Second, it lets you meet employers directly and it lets you show them exactly what you’re capable of accomplishing. This could definitely tilt the balance in your favor once it comes time for an actual job interview since you’re no longer just another name on a resume.
  • Finally, in many cases when the intern does a good job during their internship, employers will offer them a job directly, so you might already be employed by the time you finish the course.

College Credits

Data Science Dojo helps you continue your software development education by giving you 7 CEUs after completing the Data Science Bootcamp. Graduates will be able to request a transcript from the University of New Mexico by paying a $10 fee, granting them a way to leverage their experience and finish their degrees faster.

Corporate Training

Data science programs are a great option for beginners but they cannot meet the immediate needs of a growing organization. So Data Science Dojo offers instruction from working professionals who understand what is needed to build a successful data science-driven organization.

In this training, the school makes sure to use a business-first, practical approach that helps organizations grow. The curriculum is designed to be fitting for different organizations, industries and applications and is customizable to fit the organization's needs.

It works in four steps:

  • First, schedule an introductory call with the school to help them understand your requirements.
  • Second, receive and review the school's proposal with all the details, designed specifically for your team.
  • Third, customize the training by creating your own course or use Data Science Dojo's already available curriculum.
  • Fourth, empower your team by upgrading the skills of your employers with the help of the school's experienced instructors.

Data Science Dojo's Course List

Students who enroll in any of Data Science Dojo's programs can get up to 16 weeks' worth of training in data science-related subjects. The school offers instruction from industry professionals with several years of experience in the field who bring anecdotes and real-life stories to the classroom.

Data Science Dojo offers 3 different programs:
