We Can Code IT’s student success coaches offer one-on-one help, group talks, and an online series that not only facilitates the entering into the industry but educate students in common career practices. These sessions cover various things, from Imposter Syndrome and LinkedIn best practices to Interview Prep. They help them not only with the beginning of their careers but also with how to do things after they start.

The School’s team works with students from the beginning of the course until students graduate. At that point, We Can Code IT helps graduates with their professional development. How To Apply

Applicants require at least a High School Diploma or GED to apply to We Can Code IT. Students also need to commit to a minimum of 90% attendance and keep an 80% grade or above to graduate. Applicants must understand that there will be a lot of schoolwork. They should expect at least 20 hours worth of it every week. They should have good typing abilities and be comfortable using their computer, exploring websites, and so forth.

We Can Code IT has a four-step application process:

#1 Application form. To start the process, an applicant should fill out an application form with basic information. To be eligible at this stage, the applicant should be authorized to work by the US Government and have a high school diploma or GED.

#2 Assessment. In order to make sure that both school and applicant are a good fit for each other, applicants must go through a standardized test and possibly also a coding lesson with a small test project.

#3 Interview. The school will program a short interview to go over the applicant’s application.

#4 Sucess. The applicant is welcome to participate in the school’s program, and once a member, they’re always a member.
