Who can get Canada Disability Benefit
You're 18 to 64, approved for the Disability Tax Credit, a Canadian resident for tax purposes, and filed your 2025 tax return (and your spouse's, if you have one). You must be a citizen, permanent resident, registered under the Indian Act, protected person, or a temporary resident who has lived in Canada for the previous 18 months.
How to get Canada Disability Benefit
Apply online, by phone at 1-833-486-3007, or in person at a Service Canada Centre. You can get up to 24 months of back pay (from June 2025 onward). www.canada.ca
