Paid on the same date as all CPP benefits: usually the third-last business day of the month, with December paid earlier, before the holidays. The children's benefit is paid on the same date. Cheques are mailed during the last 3 business days of the month.
Plan ahead: the December 22 payment comes early, before the holidays, and the next one usually isn’t until late January. It has to last longer than usual.

My payment didn’t arrive — what do I do?
Payments are sent on the listed date but can take a few days to arrive; cheques take longer than direct deposit. Service Canada asks you to wait 5 to 10 business days before contacting them. Check your payments in My Service Canada Account. Call 1-800-277-9914 (TTY 1-800-255-4786; outside Canada and the US, call collect 1-613-957-1954), Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm local time.

Who can get CPP Disability
You're 18 to 64, and a mental or physical disability stops you from working at any job on a regular basis. The disability must be long-term and not expected to improve, or likely to cause death. You must have paid into the CPP in 4 of the last 6 years, or in 3 of the last 6 years if you contributed for at least 25 years in total. Your children under 18, or 18 to 25 and in school, can get the children's benefit. In Quebec, apply to the QPP instead.
How to get CPP Disability
1. Apply online in My Service Canada Account (or mail form ISP-1151; ISP-2530A for a terminal illness). 2. Send the consent form ISP-2502. 3. Have your doctor or nurse practitioner complete the medical report. You can ask for the children's benefit on the same application. www.canada.ca
